My Self

Hi there! I am Kirani, the author of this blog. Today I will introduce myself and tell a little bit about me.

My full name is Kirani Rizky Aulia Khairunissa, you can call me by my first name. Some of my friends also like to call me Kiran or Rani. Fun fact, I used to not like my name back then, but now I love it so much because it feels like a unique name anyway. I am currently fifteen years old, May 2008 is my birth date. If you ask me where I'm from, I honestly don't know the exact answer. My mom is Sundanese, and my dad's family came from various places in Indonesia, like Java and Sumatra. But I'm surely an Indonesian. I live in Bandung ever since I was born until this day.

One of the things I like to do in my spare time is writing, especially stuff relating to my daily life or random thoughts that came out of my head. Fictional writing isn't really my thing, probably because I rarely read fiction genres. I write to express my feelings and thoughts. By writing, I can have a 'record' of what's in my mind in a certain period of time. 

Right now, I'm in my early senior high school years, I'm a student in class X-3 of SMAN 3 Bandung, to be precise I'm part of the 2026 graduates. Talking about school, I was then a student at SMP Darul Hikam. Yes, this is my first time going to a public school. I thought I would be in great shock by the difference with my old school, but turns out I just have to adapt a little bit more to the routines, culture, and people here.

If you wonder what is Kirani's plans for the future, unfortunately, she herself still doesn't know. Yet, I'm planning to continue my studies at a medical school somewhere in Indonesia. I really hope I can also make my dreams come true, one of them is to be able to bring me and my family for Hajj or Umrah. That was one of my biggest wishes since seventh grade, and I really want to make it happen. 

On the other hand, I know adulthood will be hard, so I'm determined to enjoy and live my high school life to the fullest, by fulfilling all academic needs, trying my best to have a good relationship with other people, and also strive to always be close with Allah. So as long as I am still able to perform my main priorities, I want to also fill my high school life with beneficial activities such as joining organizations, extracurriculars, and event committees.

So I guess that's pretty much all for my introduction. Pardon me if you find this too long for a get-to-know-me blog. Anyway, thank you for sparing time to read this, I hope we get to know each other better in the future. Have a nice day!
